Minister Cowen condemns attack on home of Denis Bradley

Minister Cowen condemned yesterday ' s petrol bomb attack on the home of Denis Bradley, the Vice-Chairman of the Northern Ireland Policing Board.
The Minister said,
" This was a reprehensible act committed by those seeking to undermine the progress made in Northern Ireland on the critical issue of policing. "
Minister Cowen continued,
" The Policing Board and the District Policing Partnerships are corner-stones of the new beginning to policing. Their members have shown courage, determination and vision. No one is served by these cowardly attempts to harass or intimidate people who are doing their civic duty and who are working to bring about a better policed society in Northern Ireland. "
